The rector magnificus of the Erasmus University Rotterdam announces that
Dr. J.C. (Jacco) van Sterkenburg
appointed as endowed professor of Race, Inclusion and Communication, specifically in relation to Football and Media, at Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, on behalf of Fare, FIFPRO en UEFA, will publicly accept his appointment on Friday, 5 April 2024 with an inaugural lecture entitled:
Everyday Racism
The case of football, media and leadership
The ceremony will start promptly at 16:00 hrs in the Aula of the university (Erasmus building), Burgemeester Oudlaan 50 Rotterdam.
The inaugural lecture can also be followed via a livestream.
The reception will take place in the same building afterwards.
