Dr. R.D. (Ralf) Futselaar;

appointed as endowed professor of Social History of War, Mass Violence and Genocide at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, on behalf of the NIOD Institute, will publicly accept his appointment on Friday 5 November 2021 with an inaugural lecture entitled: 'Born under a Bad Sign. The indelible Marks of Total War on Twentieth Century Lives'.

The ceremony will start promptly at 16:00 hrs in the Aula of the university (Erasmus building), Burgemeester Oudlaan 50 Rotterdam.

The reception will take place in the same building afterwards.
