Especially for EUR lecturers, tutors or teaching assistants. You will experience the possibilities of several FeedbackFruits add-ons in Canvas in this series of four online workshops. These tools are already availabe for the EUR in your Canvas environment.

In this workshop, you will learn more about the future of feedback: automated feedback. This tool is powered by artificial intelligence and it enables students to receive formative feedback on their academic writing skills based on criteria predetermined by instructors. Students can iterate on their assignments before they hand-in a final version. The feedback consists of straightforward corrections, actionable inline feedback, suggestions, and compliments. Automated feedback significantly reduces the time teachers spend on reviewing assignments and reduces the amount of repetitive feedback. This allows them to focus on what matters most: evaluating the quality of the content and higher-order skills such as critical thinking and reasoning.

During this workshop, you'll see a live demo of how automated feedback works and you'll hear more about how other instructors and their students have experienced this innovative tool so far.

The overview of the workshop series:

Part 1: (peer)feedback tools - done (10 May)
Part 2: automated feedback (using artificial intelligence) - today
Part 3: interactive study materials + comprehension tool - 26 May 14:00-15:30
