Phuong Hoan Le will be one of the speakers at the conference ‘Platformwerk in goede banen’ (Platform work on the right track) on Thursday 16 February, organised by labour institute de NSvP en research journal Tijdschrift voor Arbeidsvraagstukken. The conference title is a play on words meaning ‘to lead platform work in the right direction’ and ‘good jobs in platform work’. She was invited for this conference based on her most recent publication ‘Different approaches to platform work: A literature review’.
The theme of her table conversation will be the (mental) wellbeing of platform workers, and participants will discuss the following two questions:
- What impact does platform work have on platform workers, organizations and society as a whole?
- What needs to change to give platform work and platform workers a valuable and sustainable place in the labor market?
