On October 6-7, 2013, Stephanie Benzaquen will take part in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) conference, New Scholars/New Research on the Holocaust at the University of Toronto. The conference is organized by the Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Chair of Holocaust Studies Prof. Michael Marrus, Prof. Doris Bergen (University of Toronto), and the Government of Canada. Stephanie Benzaquen will present the paper "Hashtag (#) Holocaust", in which she discusses the relationship between social media and networks, archive images, and the cultural memory of the Holocaust.
