It's almost that time again: the HeartBeat Festival 2024!

We will once again transform the heart of campus into a festival site on 13 June 2024! Students, staff and families will come together to celebrate the end of the lustrum.

This is what the lustrum year will look like

The lustrum year runs from summer 2023 to the end of the academic year in summer 2024. In the coming period, we will complete the programme with various activities. The official launch of our 110th anniversary was the Opening Academic Year in the Laurenskerk. This is a year when we put extra emphasis on learning, discovery and celebration together. 

The dies natalis is the real birthday of our university on 8 November 2023. But there are many more activities. There will be walks through the city, professors visiting primary schools to teach in togas and a special edition of EURvision, our very own song festival. It will be a festive year!

  • Great Dutch Student Championship (GNSK)

    The GNSK, with 2000+ participants, is the Netherlands' biggest student sports event. The 64th edition is in Rotterdam, hosted by Student Sports Netherlands.
