Esther Keymolen
Esther Keymolen MA (Belgium, 1982) is working as a junior researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy. Keymolen studied Voice at the Conservatoire of Rotterdam (BA). Subsequently she obtained her MA-degree in Philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, with a thesis on online trust, supervised by prof.dr. Jos de Mul and prof.dr.Valerie Frissen.
In her research, she focuses on the implications of ICT for public administration and citizens. Moreover, she investigates the dimensions of trust in online interactions, and is triggered by questions such as: 'Why do we (dis)trust'?, 'What is the function of trust?', 'What is the relationship between trust and the complexity of human life?'.
Esther Keymolen was also linked to the Dutch Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR), where she worked on a project concerning Policy, Information and Technology, supervised by Prof. dr. Corien Prins.
