We will be offered an insight into the Kunsthal through a presentation by two ESHCC alumni working at this cultural institution, followed by a guided tour passing by various works of art and objects in the Kunsthal. This way, you can discover the various exhibitions - including DIVA & Thomas J Price, Matter of Place - as well as the Kunsthal building itself. After the tour, you will have plenty of time to explore the exhibitions at your own pace, enjoy a snack & a drink, or enjoy the inspiring cultural programme put together by music & performance collective Club Gewalt.

Behind the scenes
The alumni event at the Kunsthal during Friday Night LIVE is the fourth event in a series of ‘behind the scenes’ visits organised by the faculty since 2023. As faculty, we see that our alumni end up in interesting and inspiring (work)places in society. With the "Behind the scenes" series, we want to open up these workplaces to fellow alumni to show where other alumni end up, to give a unique insight into the ins and outs of an organisation, and to bring ESHCC alumni together.Kunsthal - Friday Night LIVE
Every third Friday of the month, the Kunsthal offers bites & drinks, music & performances and, above all, a stimulating and inspiring programme with a large dose of art during 'Friday Night LIVE'. The Kunsthal offers each edition the stage to a different Rotterdam partner active in the fields of film, spoken word, music, fashion or theatre, to organise a vibrant evening in which different disciplines seamlessly merge. Club Gewalt is a music & performance collective from Rotterdam. They create, compose, produce and perform their own work, in which music is always the starting-middle- and end point. For this edition of Friday Night LIVE, the exhibition DIVA is the source of inspiration for a vibrant evening programme.
