About MentorMe

MentorMe is an online platform that connects current students and alumni from Erasmus University Rotterdam through mentoring. The mentoring programme is extra-curricular (so not compulsory for ESHCC-students) and offers students and alumni the opportunity to exchange knowledge, ideas and insights and engage in mutual learning.

Why join?

MentorMe offers you a unique opportunity to get in contact with former students from ESHCC and EUR to learn more about their career experiences and to gain insights into potential roles/industries.

  • Explore potential careers
  • Gain tailored career advice
  • Get tips on entering the job market
  • Increase your professional network
  • Boost your self-confidence

  • Give the next generation the advice you wish you had received
  • Boost your interpersonal relationships and coaching skills
  • Gain access to fresh ideas, new ways of thinking and a pool of potential internship/job applicants

How does it work?

Connect with your ideal mentor, industry insider, career guide, or networking contact in three simple steps:

  1. Sign up to the MentorMe platform and create your student profile
Tell us about your studies, interests, career aspirations, and what kind of guidance you are looking for.

  2. Find your match
Browse through profiles of ESHCC-alumni and other EUR-professionals, filter by industry (media, advertising, government, cultural sector, digital etc.), specialisation, or career stage.

  3. Start the conversation
Send messages, schedule video calls, and begin receiving the guidance that will give you a head start in your career, or discover unexpected career paths you had not considered.
