Dr. Deborah Castro publishes a book chapter on the Netflix' series Élite

Television series created in Spain have undergone a significant and multifaceted change in the last few years. The book "Revolución Seriada: el Gran Cambio de la Ficción Televisiva en España" sheds light on an exciting transformative period for the Spanish TV industry.

The publication includes 10 chapters that touch upon 10 different popular series, including Money Heist (aka La Casa de Papel)Locked up (aka Vis a vis), Cocaine coast (aka Fariña), The Ministry of Time (aka El Ministerio del Tiempo) and Élite. In her chapter "Élite: La ficción teen española que juega en la NBA", dr. Castro reflects on the production context of the series and presents an analysis of the narrative features and aesthetics of the show. 

The book was edited by Miguel Ángel Huerta Floriano (Universidad de Salamanca) and has been published by Tirant Editorial.
