SNIP grant for AFTERWAR research

SNIP-beurs voor AFTERWAR-project

Jeroen Jansz (ERMeCC), Maria Grever (CHC) and Kees Ribbens (CHC/NIOD) received a grant from SNIP (Support Programme National and International Projects).

This ‘seeding money’ will be used to improve the quality of the AFTERWAR proposal that will be submitted to Horizon2020 in 2017. The AFTERWAR consortium studies how the heritage of major twentieth-century armed conflicts is represented and appropriated in contemporary popular culture (e.g. videogames, movies), and how this may contribute to enhancing democratic citizenship in Europe.
