Vidhi Chaudhri and Yijing Wang publish article with Media & Business alumnus Marcus Opitz
Dr. Vidhi Chaudhri and Dr. Yijing Wang have recently published an article in Corporate Communications: An International Journal together with Media & Business alumnus Marcus Optiz. The research examined whether employee social-mediated crisis communication is an opportunity or a threat to organizations. Findings of the online survey experiment reveal that message framing and the medium influence the effect of employee communication on organizational reputation.
The study was conducted with Marcus Opitz, who graduated from Master Media Studies: Media & Business in 2016. In December 2017, Marcus won the Master thesis award for best thesis since 2012 at the Media & Business Symposium. Additionally, he won second prize in the category Best Master Thesis in the Digital Communication Awards 2017.
