Cross-disciplinary Research in Economics, Sociology and Heritage

The benefits of cross-disciplinary scholarship are well-documented. Bringing together diverse opinions and expertise across heterogeneous disciplines can maximize understanding, application, and realization of information. The goal of this research cluster supports the formation of interdisciplinary work, seeking to make connections between different concepts and fields of scholarship within modern culture. CRESH is a community-driven research cluster seeking to expand communication across the fields of cultural economics, sociology and cultural studies. The collective efforts of the participants seek to create new knowledge, as well as a synthesis and deeper understandings of established ideas.
