Erasmus Verbindt and the Community for Learning & Innovation (CLI) invite you to an inspiring, hands-on afternoon dedicated to impact-driven education. Whether you’ve been involved in impact-driven education for years or you are curious to begin, this event is designed to support, connect and inspire you. Find out what “impact” means within our university’s Strategy 2030 and explore what this can mean for your programs and courses. Here’s a spoiler: there are opportunities for everyone!
Programme
With Arwin van Buuren, Strategic Dean Impact & Engagement
In this short talk, you will learn about Impact and Engagement in the context of our EUR Strategy 2030 and about the key role of the Community for Learning and Innovation (CLI), Erasmus Verbindt (EV) and HefHouse in this new phase.
With Max Wagenaar, Programme Director Erasmus Verbindt
In an interview format, you will get a first seat to everything that happens when Erasmus Verbindt supports teachers: How to choose the right societal partner? Is a thematic or a neighborhood approach the best suited? How to sustain long-term win-win collaborations? There will be time for Q&A about the support you can get!
With Frieda Franke, Project Lead HefHouse
In an interview format, you’ll discover how HefHouse brings together students from diverse educational levels, educators, and local youth to co-create positive change in Rotterdam-Zuid. Learn how this unique community hub connects different worlds (education, neighbourhood, and innovation) to tackle real-life challenges in an experiential way.
With Denise Levy, Learning Innovator CLI and Katharina Bauer, Coordinator Master Societal Transitions (ESphil)
The thesis or graduation project is a key milestone in our students’ journey. What if we make it meaningful and societally relevant? In this showcase, you will learn about different interventions you can implement in your program, from small to big! You will have the chance to zoom in on one of the most innovative graduation projects in our university: “Master Societal Transitions” (ESPhil) and learn about their current successes and challenges.
