Confidential counsellors and inappropriate behaviour

Our medical faculty strives to be a safe place to study and work for every student, teacher or employee. However, where people work together, undesirable behavior can sometimes occur. Research by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment shows that more than 1.2 million people have to deal with this. The government is therefore strongly urging employers to be alert: unappropriate behaviour in the workplace can lead to (long-term) absenteeism and falls under psychosocial workload (PSA). Employers are obliged to limit this risk as much as possible. Within our education system, we try to do the same for every student, lecturer, researcher and support staff member.
