This year, it's exactly 100 years ago that Willem Adriaan Bonger was appointed as the first professor of sociology in the Netherlands. Due to this 100-year anniversary, Tijdschrift Sociologie published the bundle ‘100 jaar Nederlandse sociologie’. In this bundle, students describe the history of sociology in the Netherlands using 17 interviews with their favourite sociologists, among which are Ton Bevers and Koen van Eijck of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication (ESHCC).
