Five EUR historians participate in the ESSH-Conference in Belfast (3-7 April 2018)

ESSHC

Robbert-Jan Adriaansen, Maria Grever, Norah Karrouche, Laurie Slegtenhorst and Ingrid de Zwarte from the History department will deliver papers in the European Social Science History Conference (ESSHC) in Belfast at Queen's University.

Adriaansen, Grever and Slegtenhorst are involved in the current research program "War! Popular Culture and European Heritage of Major Armed Conflicts "(REI 2015-21).

The ESSHC is a biennial conference organized by the International Institute of Social History (IISH). The conference aims to bring together scholars who rely on methods of the social sciences in their work. There is no one central theme, which means that the conference welcomes papers an sessions on any historical topic and period.
