TRESCA featured as part of #EUvsDisinfo campaign against COVID-19 misinformation

The European Commission wants to help fight coronavirus by “countering misinformation and debunking myths”. This month TRESCA was featured, along with seven other EU funded projects, as part of the #EUvsDisinfo campaign in the fight against COVID-19 misinformation released by the European Commission.

In the campaign TRESCA was featured for its work on innovating communication practices between researchers, journalists, and policy makers and it’s analyzation of digital practices to stop misinformation.

The TRESCA Project is a project coordinated by Erasmus University Rotterdam that is focused on Trustworthy, Reliable and Engaging Scientific Communication Approaches in the age of fake news and misinformation. TRESCA’s primary goal is understanding how science communication can help rebuild trust in the Social Sciences and Humanities. In the long run, TRESCA aims to develop more trust in science through the innovation on scientific communication practices.
