New research on cross collaboration

Many of today’s challenges are too complex for one organization to solve alone. Issues such as sustainability, workforce development, and rapid technological change often require cooperation between business, government, and civil society.

The article explores how these collaborations are evolving. The study was co-authored by Paul Ongenae from Impact Centre Erasmus together with Lawrence J. Lad, Lauren E. Lad, Noemí Pérez-Macías, and Jose Luis Neves Fernandes.

The article examines how organizations work together across sectors and why these partnerships are becoming more important. The authors argue that this is not just a new management tool. It reflects a broader shift in how organizations approach complex problems.

Three cases illustrate this idea in practice. They focus on industry self-regulation, recycling initiatives, and employment programs for persons with disabilities.
