Initiatives
Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is contributing to the realisation of the Npuls sector ambitions. These ambitions mainly focus on matters that the institutions can only achieve together, such as developing sector facilities, coming up with new working methods and sharing knowledge. Two examples of initiatives in which this is happening are:
EduGenAI
A Dutch AI platform developed by Npuls and SURF that allows teachers to use generative AI responsibly. Users can choose the language model that best suit their needs and switch between them.
Open educational resources
Sharing and (re)using digital and open educational resources offers many advantages. Through the “Erasmus Gets Connected” project, the University Library is working on a way to make these resources available centrally and on a larger scale.
EUR Linking team
At EUR, the Linking team coordinates EUR's activities and presence within Npuls. The Linking team also performs the following roles:
- The Linking team is the first point of contact for colleagues within Erasmus University who have questions about Npuls or how Npuls' activities impact their work.
- The Linking team acts as a bridge between the institution and the national Npuls team.
- The Linking team works on initiating and promoting Npuls' solutions and activities within Erasmus University.
- The Linking team promotes Npuls' vision, shares knowledge and inspires colleagues.
- The Linking team identifies challenges for achieving the sector ambitions and communicates these to the national Npuls team.
