CERES
All EGSH PhD researchers have access (mostly for free) to the courses offered by the CERES Research School. Ceres is a partnership between Dutch and Flemish institutions with programmes in Development Studies (and associated fields). It offers a variety of short methodological and thematic courses in addition to traditional PhD Training.
Please find the full CERES course program 2025-2026 here. You can register for any of the CERES courses through a Google Form that can be reached here.
UNIC
PhD researchers from Erasmus University have access to the courses offered via the UNIC network. These courses are about career transition from research to business, doing research responsibly, and building a research reputation, among other topics.
UNIC is dedicated to supporting networking and further development of research on Migration. The UNIC PhD Programme (UPP) offers qualification and training opportunities and brings together PhD researchers working on the topic of Migration within the UNIC network of partner universities.
UPP offers you easy access to visit courses of partner universities throughout Europe. (Virtual) mobility enables Early Career Researchers to collect international experiences and to interconnect. As a flexible programme, you can choose the most suitable courses and events. Its international perspectives complement and support your regular PhD procedure.
More information about the courses and the UNIC project can be found on the UNIC website, here. More information about the project can also be found here.
