Guest speakers
Exciting guest lectures from practitioners are integrated within courses, providing an opportunity to see how theories and practice inform each other. Past guest speakers from various sectors such as media companies, non-governmental organisations, policy think tanks and public administration have been invited to share their practical experience with students.
Thesis
In terms 3 and 4, you will be working on an empirical research project that will constitute your Master thesis. You will be matched with an individual student supervisor, based on your own preferences and the availability of staff. You will develop a socially and academically relevant research question, set-up a small research design, conduct a small study, and write a thesis. During the entire trajectory, students can expect individual supervision by an experienced faculty member. Students can also find a societal stakeholder (such as a non-governmental organization, a company, a public institution etc.) interested in hosting their thesis project.
