An ESHPM degree can take you in many directions, but which one is right for you? The multidisciplinary nature of ESHPM programmes opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities. Whether you're still exploring different industries and roles, or already have a few options in mind but find it difficult to choose, this event will help you discover where your degree can take you and connect with professionals who have been in your shoes.
This event is open to students from all ESHPM Master's programmes. While each programme has its own scope and focus, our alumni often find themselves working in many of the same organizations and sectors. That makes this a valuable opportunity to learn from graduates across HCM, HEPL and HEPL-HE and discover career paths you may not have considered before. Hearing from alumni with different backgrounds and experiences can help you gain a better understanding of the opportunities available after graduation.
During the event, our alumni will share their personal journeys after ESHPM, including:
- Their current role and career path
- How the master's programme and their experiences shaped their career and personal growth
- Key decisions or turning points that led the alumni to where they are today
- Challenges they encountered along the way and how they conquered these
- Practical tips for current students: events, networks, or opportunities worth exploring
Most importantly, you will have the chance to ask your own questions. So, sign up now!

More information about our alumni:
Vera Niessink (HEPL)
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a master’s in Health Economics, Policy, and Law, I began my career at Coppa, where I helped organizations improve their procurement processes and implement new systems. I now work at WindTerug as a project manager and consultant focused on digitization and change in the healthcare sector. Along the way, I’ve come to understand better and better what suits me best: analyzing, connecting people, and working together to make improvements. I’m also active as a travel guide, where organizing and interacting with people come together in a whole new way. At the alumni event, I’d love to share my journey and the various paths your degree can take you down!
Yvette Sol (HCM)
“The HCM program taught me to approach challenges systematically from different perspectives and interests; a way of thinking that I still apply in my work daily.”
In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience in healthcare technology, nursing homes, and team growth and development. During the alumni event, I’d love to take you on a journey into the world of Med Tech startups and scale-ups, and the challenges and opportunities that come with them.

David Vedder (HCM)
David graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2024 with a Master's degree in Healthcare Management. After gaining experience in the financial sector, he now works as a consultant at 22Graden Groep, where he contributes to a wide range of societal challenges within healthcare and the social domain. Currently, he works as a Project Manager for the Municipality of Lansingerland, focusing on the implementation of a lifestyle support center, and as a Contract Manager at GRJR in Rotterdam, where he helps improve and restructure processes for tailored youth care services. What he enjoys most about his work is the variety of organizations and challenges, the opportunity to bridge the gap between policy and practice, and the ability to make a meaningful impact.
