Robots are becoming increasingly common in healthcare. But what role could they really play in the daily work of healthcare professionals? In this interactive workshop, we will explore the opportunities, challenges and future of robotics in healthcare. Your practical experience and ideas will be at the heart of the discussion.

Programme
What could the future of robotics in healthcare look like? And how can we ensure that new technologies truly meet the needs of healthcare professionals?
During this interactive workshop, nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals will come together to share their perspectives and engage in discussions with experts about the future of robotics in healthcare.
We will start with a creative exercise: imagine that anything is possible. How could robotics make your work easier, more enjoyable or more effective? Next, we will take a critical look at future scenarios presented by robotics experts. Which ideas are realistic? Which are useful? And how do they relate to the realities of everyday clinical practice?
Together with Prof. Jeffrey Braithwaite and Prof. David Abbink, we will reflect on these ideas and explore what is needed to successfully integrate robotics into healthcare.
The workshop will follow a World Café format, encouraging participants to exchange experiences, discuss ideas in small groups and help shape the next steps for future research.
No technical background or prior knowledge of robotics is required. Your experience as a healthcare professional is exactly what we are looking for.
