On 28 October, it was time again for the ESHPM alumni dinner. This time at Eurobrouwers in Schiedam. We look back on a very enjoyable evening with delicious beers and a full plate of (vegetarian) sausage, potatoes and coleslaw. This year, we were especially happy to be able to invite everyone again, because with the budget cuts in education, this is unfortunately no longer a given.
A fun reunion
During the evening, there was of course plenty of time to catch up with each other, but we also wanted to see how well everyone is informed about developments within ESHPM and the research being done by ESHPM. During the Mentimeter quiz, the tensions ran high, but the eventual winner, Malou Ensink, took home the first prize. Congratulations!
The quiz showed how committed all the alumni were to ESHPM. Would you like to actively contribute or give back to the School? Let us know! This could include becoming a mentor to students or fellow alumni, providing internships spots, giving guest lectures, etc. If you are interested, please email alumni@eshpm.eur.nl.
Eurobrouwers
Good to know: Eurobrouwers has unfortunately closed down since our alumni dinner. They had to leave the premises due to construction projects. They do not yet have a new brewing location (although they do have a new café in Rotterdam, Café de Wilde Mossel), so it was extra special that we were able to hold the alumni dinner here!
