70% of the healthcare budget covers workforce. At ESHPM we are working on the urgent study of Workforce and Affordability in healthcare. It addresses a critical, urgent barrier in modern healthcare systems—achieving sustainable healthcare delivery amidst growing workforce shortages and rising costs.
At ESHPM, our research is deeply embedded in healthcare practices, enabling us to generate theoretical and practical insights to support policymakers and healthcare organisations in tackling these challenges. With expertise in health systems, economics, professional sociology, law, and patient care, we analyse developments comprehensively and translate them into education and research to have a positive impact on national and EU-funded research that addresses pressing healthcare needs.
