Who is this for?
This MicroLab is primarily intended for teachers who are responsible for a course. Teachers who have little influence on a course can participate but will not be able to implement their final implementation plan completely.
For this MicroLab, it is recommended that the University Education Qualification (UTQ) has been obtained, or that this MicroLab is part of your UTQ. It builds on the final competences of the UTQ-trajectory.
Content, form and time investment
During the session, you will work with the 5-phase model of formative assessment. You will actively engage with each phase, examine the characteristics of effective feedback and the different types of feedback, and reflect on how these can best support your students.
Throughout the MicroLab, you will reflect on your current practices, evaluate what works, and develop strategies to ensure that formative assessment becomes a meaningful and integrated part of your students’ learning process. By the end of the MicroLab, you will outline concrete actions to strengthen formative assessment in your teaching practice.
The training has a blended structure, which means that there is mandatory preparation on Canvas before the physical training takes place. The total time investment is approximately 5-6 hours (including preparation time).
Earn an Edubadge
If you made the preparation and participated in the session, you can earn an Edubadge. This is a digital, visual certificate which you can share on e.g. LinkedIn. Interested parties can immediately click on the certificate to find out what you have done to achieve the Edubadge.
