Developing an Inclusive Teamwork Toolkit: From Co-Design to Practice

CLI Fellowship of Anna Priante

The Community for Learning & Innovation (CLI) gives lecturers from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) the opportunity to apply for a fellowship. With this fellowship, they research educational innovation, or carry out an educational project. On this page you can read more about the CLI Fellowship of Anna Priante (RSM), in which she will design and test a practical Inclusive Teamwork Toolkit to strengthen collaboration in student teams.

Teamwork is central to learning, yet diverse student teams can struggle to ensure every voice is heard. This project will design and test a practical Inclusive Teamwork Toolkit to strengthen collaboration in student teams. The toolkit will offer short, situation-based check-ins that help teams reflect on how they work together, surface different voices, and agree on concrete next steps, while giving instructors aggregate snapshots for light-touch support. The pilot will take place in the International Business Administration BSc at RSM, and the toolkit will be privacy-preserving, course-neutral, and easy to adopt in other programmes at EUR. The aim is to improve perceived inclusion, balanced participation, team process quality, and students’ readiness to collaborate in diverse environments, while laying the groundwork for future adaptive features.
