The Community for Learning & Innovation (CLI) gives lecturers from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) the opportunity to apply for a fellowship. With this fellowship, they research educational innovation, or carry out an educational project. On this page you can read more about the CLI Fellowship of Otto Koppius (RSM), which focuses on creating an easy-to use platform for developing interactive, immersive teaching cases using Generative AI.
Teaching cases are a powerful tool to teach students integrative thinking in real-world scenarios, but traditional paper-based cases cannot fully engage students in realistic dialogues or allow them to probe the reasoning behind managerial decisions dynamically. Using a combination of open-source generative AI video and audio tools and Large Language Models, we can create AI-driven interactive video cases to deepen critical thinking, improving decision-making skills, and fostering greater engagement and motivation among students. I plan to create an easy-to-use platform that enables the creation of AI-driven interactive cases by faculty and case writers without the need for technical AI knowledge.
