What can I expect from an intern?
Students of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication gain a lot of practical skills during their studies, which can be of added value to your organisation. For example, they learn how to write well and they are able to build an argumentation and to process large amounts of data. Also, we teach our students to look at current issues in a critical, yet constructive manner.

Internships vacancies are posted on the Facebook page about internships for History students or the Facebook page about internships for Arts and Culture Studies students.
We also announce vacancies via email and Blackboard. If you have a vacancy, please state clearly when the internship will take place, what is expected of the student and when the application deadline is.
All governmental, non-profit or corporate organization in the field of history, culture and communication can share their internship vacancies with our students.
An internship is meant as an opportunity for a student to bring his or her knowledge into practice. An internship should therefore take place at a (profit or non-profit) professional organisation. The student should be supervised by an expert within the organisation. The tasks should be of an academic level. The intern can work individually or take part in a team. It is recommandable to formulate an assignment which will result in a clearly demarcated final product. An internship has the size of 420 hours (10,5 weeks when fulltime).
