Media & Communication students and internships

The Department of Media & Communication is a young, dynamic department within Erasmus University's Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication (ESHCC). We offer several international degree and minor programmes fully taught in English. Each of our programs has a strong international focus and is home to an internationally and culturally diverse student and lecture population, representing more than 50 nationalities.

In the fourth term (April) of the second year of the bachelor in Media and Communication (IBCoM) all students are required to take an internship in the field of communication and media relevant to their career goals. This internship last for a minimum of 8.5 weeks and helps to gain practical work experience and connect the students’ coursework with the professional field.

We are always looking for organisations and companies who would like to participate in our internship program by hosting one or more students for a work placement. Are you a company or organisation operating in marketing, management, corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, government, public affairs, education, journalism, the media and entertainments industries or the arts or any other field related to our IBCoM program? And are you looking for a highly skilled intern? Do not hesitate to consult our internship coordinator, Kayleigh Vedder, for advice. You can find her contact details below.
