Admission and application

You’re looking to do a master programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). This is your to-do list:

Each EUR master programme has its own specific admission requirements and procedure you’ll need to meet and follow. And of course you’ll need to be aware of our deadlines!

Let’s check the information page of the master programme of your choice to find everything out:

*Applicants for programmes taught in Dutch must pass the NT2-II-exam or the Dutch entrance exam of the Colloquium Doctum depending on the programme to show that they have a sufficient command of the Dutch language.

If you do not meet the basic admission requirements for a master programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), there might be the option to follow a pre-master. A lot of master programmes offer one.

Pre-masters usually takes a year. After completing a pre-master programme successfully, you have direct access to the corresponding master programme.

Each pre-master programme has its own specific admission requirements, like the master programmes. For specific information, check the information on the pre-master of your choice.

You chose your programme, you meet the requirements, but can you afford it? Before applying, do yourself a favor and have a good look at your financial situation.

Non-EU/EEA students: don’t forget the costs & timings for an immigration procedure.

Everything sorted out and ready to go? Then go ahead and go back to the website of the master programme of your choice. Because application procedures can also differ per programme. On the website you’ll find all the details you need on the application procedure, so you’ll know where and when to start your application.
