Scalable business models throughout Europe
Scaling up Big Data projects throughout Europe presents a significant challenge due to differences in national legislative frameworks, attitudes towards Big Data and privacy, and the manner in which healthcare is organised.
In the Big Medilytics project, ESHPM will examine the options available for how the developed Big Data technologies can be scaled up throughout Europe. The first step is develop tools that can be used to develop new business models in healthcare. Once this step is complete, business models will be developed for twelve different pilots. These models will be evaluated. Following this evaluation, business models for successful dissemination of data-driven healthcare will be developed for scaling up the pilots for other pathologies, populations and countries.
