Dr René Repasi has published a new monographwith Mohr Siebeck on 'The Impact of the Principle of Supremacy of EU Law on National Conflict-of-Laws' (in German).
The book forms part of the 'Studies on comparative and international private law'. Within the scope of EU law, the application of national conflict-of-laws rules to cross-border situations can lead to clashes with EU rights to free movement. The EU's principle of supremacy provides a solution to this. Dr René Repasi examines its mechanisms and draws conclusions on how autonomous conflict-of-laws rules of the Member States are influenced by them.
