Fabian Amtenbrink, Professor for European Union law at Erasmus School of Law and Scientific Director of EURO-CEFG, delivers a keynote lecture at the opening plenary session of the 5th Conference on European Law and Policy in Context - The Future of European Law and Policy Conference organised by the University of Birmingham on 23 and 24 June 2016. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘More or less Europe?’
The conference takes place at a crucial time in the history of the United Kingdom with the European Union, as on Thursday 23 June the United Kingdom European Union membership referendum will take place, possibly leading to a departure of the United Kingdom from the EU (Brexit). Professor Amtenbrink’s speech is entitled ‘A deeper Europe? Ever Closer EMU’.
