Sport does not exist in isolation. Like the rest of society, it faces significant integrity challenges—ranging from match fixing and aggression, to issues of participation, inclusion, and gender diversity. These developments call for thoughtful reflection, strong policies, and decisive action. During this conference, you will learn about examples of action that are taken within the OSE-project through innovative Living Labs which help shape the sport environment across a variety of communities and sports.
What can we learn from these initiatives?
And how can we scale their impact to other communities, sports, and clubs?
Join us and hear first-hand experiences from the field!!
About OSE
OSE (Our Sport is for Everyone) is a programme funded by the European Commission under the CERV framework and led by the Erasmus School of Philosophy. It is carried out in collaboration with key Dutch partners, including the Gemeente Rotterdam, NOC*NSF, Nederlandse Basketball Bond (NBB), Koninklijke Nederlandse Zwembond (KNZB), Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB), and the Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond (KNHB). The project responds to ongoing challenges of discrimination in sport by strengthening awareness, expertise, and resources within sports organisations. Through this collaborative approach, Erasmus University Rotterdam and its consortium partners aim to support organisations in developing more inclusive practices and environments. Ultimately, OSE contributes to the transition toward a more inclusive, fair, and resilient sporting culture.
