About the name of the building
Willemien van der Goot (1897-1989) was an alumna and the first PhD student at the Nederlandsche Handels-Hoogeschool, EUR's oldest legal predecessor. She was also the first woman in the Netherlands to obtain a PhD on an economic subject.
