ToolEUR aims to help you find educational applications that support varied, practical and high-quality teaching. The educational application pages are designed to give you a quick and useful overview of what a tool can do in an educational context, how you might apply it in your own course, and where to go if you want to learn more.

Our offer

We offer a growing overview of educational applications, including concise explanations, examples of educational use, practical tips and links to relevant resources. The focus is on helping you understand how a tool can support your teaching, rather than on reproducing full technical documentation. Where relevant, pages also point you to official help centres, videos and starting points for further exploration.

How does it work?

To explore educational applications, use the filters or search bar above the tool overview. The following filters are available:

• Functions: What do you want the tool to help you do in your teaching? 
• Via Canvas: Will you use the tool inside Canvas, in another online environment, or as a standalone application?
• Difficulty of use: Are you looking for a tool that is easy to start with, moderately complex, or one that needs more guidance before use?

Each tool page includes a short introduction, examples of educational use, tips and tricks, and links to relevant support resources. Because tool availability, settings or working agreements may differ across faculties, we always recommend that you also contact the Learning & Innovation team of your faculty for questions about local use, support or implementation.

ToolEUR does not aim to replace official technical manuals or faculty-specific procedures. Instead, it offers an accessible starting point that helps you decide whether a tool may be useful for your teaching and what to explore next.
