Admissions work is evolving rapidly. Digital application systems, the growing impact of AI, rising fraud risks, and shifting applicant expectations are reshaping daily practice, while admissions professionals remain responsible for fairness, transparency, and sound human judgement.
Human-Centered Admissions in a Digital Age is a hands-on staff training week designed for admissions officers, credential evaluators, and admissions team leads working in an international context.
Programme themes
- How AI and automation are shaping credential evaluation and digital record security
- Safeguarding human judgement, ethics, and trust in increasingly digital processes
- Managing authenticity, fraud prevention, and digital verification
- Strengthening communication, de-escalation, and professional resilience skills
- Understanding Gen Z and Gen Alpha expectations and their impact on admissions and student support
Participants learn through expert input, peer exchange, and real-life scenarios, leaving with concrete tools and skills they can apply immediately in their daily work.
The draft programme will be published soon.
Social Programme
The programme will also include an optional social programme, giving participants the opportunity to explore the city of Rotterdam, famous for its modern and innovative architecture - including the Cube Houses, Erasmus Bridge, and the Markthal - as well as its renowned museums and cultural spaces, such as Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen and Fenix, all within a lively international and multicultural atmosphere.
