Erasmus+ Crossroads International Staff Week, 22-25 June 2026

Admissions work is evolving rapidly. Digital application systems, the growing impact of AI, rising fraud risks, and shifting applicant expectations are reshaping daily practice, while admissions professionals remain responsible for fairness, transparency, and sound human judgement.

Human-Centered Admissions in a Digital Age is a hands-on staff training week designed for admissions officers, credential evaluators, and admissions team leads working in an international context. Throughout the week we will discuss themes as: how AI and automation are shaping credential evaluation and digital record security, safeguarding human judgement, ethics, and trust in increasingly digital processes, managing authenticity, fraud prevention, and digital verification, strengthening communication, de-escalation, and professional resilience skills and understanding the new generation's expectations and their impact on admissions and student support

Participants learn through expert input, peer exchange, and real-life scenarios, leaving with concrete tools and skills they can apply immediately in their daily work.

15.45 - 17.15Bridging the gap between Marketing and Admissions

Marketing and Admissions: two departments, one goal, and occasionally very different opinions on how to get there. In this 90 minute session, we close the gap and maybe a few old wounds. Together we'll dive into Gen Zalpha, decode some marketing slang, and explore how aligning around our shared target audience can turn the student funnel into a smoother ride for everyone. Spoiler alert: better collaboration means better leads, and better leads make Admissions very happy.
