Erasmus Centre for Health Economics Rotterdam (EsCHER) will be awarding scholarships for several master’s programmes to support excellent students from countries that are not part of the European Economic Area (EEA).
EsCHER is an organisation that bundles the unique and leading expertise in the field of Health Economics that is available at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. EsCHER does this by conducting both theoretical and applied research in the field of Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment as well as on the structure and performance of health care systems. The organisation currently consists of the Institute for Medical Technology Assessment (iMTA), the Health Systems and Insurance, Health Technology Assessment, and Health Economics departments of Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM), and the Health Economics research group of Erasmus School of Economics (ESE).
With over 100 health economists, EsCHER has a central role in developing and applying methods that contribute to more effective, evidence-based health care policies and more equitable and efficient health care systems around the world.
EsCHER is now offerering scholarships for the master’s programmes Health Economics (a joint programme by both ESHPM and ESE) and Health Economics, Policy & Law (at ESHPM), starting at the academic year 2022-2023. The aim of the scholarships is to financially support excellent students from non-EEA countries. It concerns a partial tuition fee waiver for either of the aforementioned master’s programmes. Students from low and middle income countries are especially encouraged to apply.
