The VSNU, NFU and NWO have concluded an open access principle agreement with the Elsevier publisher. This allows scientists to publish open access in more than 2,500 journals from 1 January 2020. The agreement in principle applies to the transition period from 1 January 2020 to 1 May 2020, after which a final agreement must be reached.
