At the fair, you can:
- Join live info sessions on scholarships, exchanges, internships, and study abroad opportunities after your studies.
- Meet advisors, faculty representatives, and scholarship experts to answer your questions
- Attend the session "Should I stay or should I go" - for students with a functional impairment
- Visit stands from organizations to help plan your stay abroad
- Get first-hand tips from Study Abroad Student Ambassadors
And you join the scholarship lottery – win €1500, €1000, or €500! (EUR students only, supported by A.A. van Beekfonds)

A (second) master programme abroad (in Dutch) This session is aimed at students who want to pursue a (second) master’s degree abroad after completing their bachelor or master’s programme. We will discuss how to prepare for this step and which scholarships are available. Speakers include representatives from the Cultuurfonds, the Fulbright Center, and a student counsellor. Scholarships & Grants This session is aimed at students who want to go abroad for an exchange or internship during their studies. We will discuss the different funding opportunities available, such as the A.A. van Beek Fund (for all students and destinations), the Erasmus+ programme (for destinations within the EU/EEA), and the NL Scholarship (for destinations outside the EU/EEA, available to Dutch students only). In addition, student counsellors will share information about private funds for Dutch students going abroad, both within and outside Europe. | CT-1 |

Should I stay or should I go by Team SMF (Studying with a functional impairment) This session is aimed at students with a functional impairment who are considering studying or interning abroad. We will discuss the types of financial support available and explain how to request adjustments at a host university. There will also be time for questions. | C2-6 |

The Erasmus University Rotterdam offers various scholarships for studying and internships abroad.
A.A. van Beekfonds
The A.A. van Beekfonds aims to promote scientific education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and provides financial support for students going on an exchange or internship abroad.
VSB fonds beurs
The VSB fons beurs is intended for full-time students of Dutch nationality graduating from Erasmus University, and offers them the opportunity to pursue further studies at a renowned institution abroad.
Cultuurfonds Beurs
The Cultuurfonds Beurs is a scholarship for talented Dutch students graduating from Erasmus University, enabling them to pursue further studies or research at a renowned institution abroad.
Fulbright
Fulbright is a prestigious scholarship program that supports talented Dutch students, researchers, and professionals to study, research, or teach in the United States.
Absolute Internship - Absolute Internship is an international internship programme which enables university students and recent graduates to develop their career aspirations across the globe. The programmes take place in Barcelona, Beijing, Hong Kong, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Paris, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Stockholm and Tokyo and offer a full-service experience to develop both the personal and professional skill sets those who enroll.
AON – AON is an insurance and consultation company that can help you decide which travel insurance you will need for your exchange abroad.
British Council - The British Council will be present to provide information about studying in the UK.
British Language Training Centre - Do you wish to improve your English? BLTC can help! With 40 years of experience, BLTC provides effective communicative General English courses at its centre in the heart of Amsterdam and in schools and businesses throughout the Netherlands. They offer IELTS preparation courses. These courses will help you prepare for the IELTS exam and reach the IELTS score you need.
ESN - Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Their mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.

HQ Intern Abroad (to be confirmed) - HQ intern Abroad organises affordable, fully supported international and remote internships, tailored to students’ career goals and academic needs.

Interlanguage Study Abroad - Interlanguage Study Abroad is the independent Dutch specialist for language courses, internships, high school and study programmes abroad, offering personal advice, top quality and over 200 locations worldwide.
Language & Training Centre - The Language & Training Centre (LTC) is the centre of expertise and partner for language testing, language training and (oral and written) communication skills training. They are part of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School (NAHSS)
The NAHSS’ goal is to enlighten the next generation about China's dynamics and opportunities, through knowledge and personal experience, to prepare them for a future career with China in the picture.
Stage Global - Stage Global is a leader in International Exchange programs, founded in 2010. Stage-Global entity has various programs under Stage-USA, Stage-Australia and Stage-Euro. Programs offered include internships, traineeships, Summer Work & Travel and Short-term Trainings
Travel Clinic Erasmus MC - Travel Clinic Erasmus MC provides medical services for your exchange. They can help with vaccinations and for medical questions during your trip or if you unexpectedly return sick.
Wilweg - WilWeg is the starting point for your experience abroad. They provide you with independent information about a study, internship or gap year abroad. With them you will also find practical tips and inspiring experience stories from students all over the world.
The A.A. van Beek Fonds will award 3 scholarships to EUR students planning to go abroad for a study exchange or internship! The awarding of the scholarships will be done by: Rosanne Kars (Programme and Funds Officer, Erasmus Trustfonds) and Martine Wierenga (Director, International Office EUR)
During the fair, you can fill in a lottery ticket at the A.A. van Beek Fonds stand. Later, join the lottery draw to see if you win one of the prizes:
- 1st prize: €1,500
- 2nd prize: €1,000
- 3rd prize: €500
Rules for participating in the lottery
- First-year bachelor students are excluded from the lottery (sorry, you may participate next year!).
- You must be present at the event during the draw. If your name is called and you are not there, your ticket will be discarded.
- 1 ticket per person
Conditions for receiving the scholarship
- The A.A. van Beek Scholarship is awarded by the A.A. van Beek Fonds for study exchange or internships abroad, except in countries where Dutch is the local language.
- You must meet the requirements of the A.A. van Beek Fonds (see: www.aavanbeekfonds.nl).
- The requirement of being eligible for the Dutch supplementary grant (DUO) does not apply to this lottery.
- You must follow @aavanbeekfonds on Instagram.
- You must complete the Erasmus Goes Abroad Fair survey.
