Every semester new international students are cordially invited to attend the Official Welcome!
The Official Welcome consists of two parts:
- During the formal part of the ceremony, speeches will be held by Rector Magnificus prof. dr. Rutger Engels, and the president of ESN-Rotterdam. You will even get to meet Desiderius Erasmus himself! The ceremony will conclude with a fun performance.
- Afterwards, during the informal reception organised by ESN-Rotterdam, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow international students while enjoying good music and Dutch snacks.
Make sure to register for this year's Official Welcome Ceremony on the 5th of September 2019 at 15.30 hrs via the form on our Orientation page. The Official Welcome is usually very well received by our internationals, and we hope to see you there!
