    Neighbour disputes, labour disputes, political squabbles, wars: we are surrounded by conflicts. On the world stage and closer to home. How do you prevent a difference of opinion from escalating into a heated argument? Dutch thinker David Van Reybrouck and Professor Thea Hilhorst (ISS) join their guests in searching for wisdom that fits on a beer mat and that we can use to move forward.

    This is Making Feedback Count, a three-episode podcast series from Erasmus University Rotterdam about giving and receiving feedback in higher education. 

    By having conversations with colleagues, students, and experts in the field we will unbox feedback practices and discover tips and tricks to help us improve. This podcast is the end result of an educational innovation project by Dr. Mijke Slot, assistant professor in Media and Communication. This project was supported by innovation funding from the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication. Tune in for evidence-based strategies and constructive conversations that offer practical tools and fresh perspectives.

    What societal challenges do adolescents face? Why are they equipped to make contributions? What do they need to contribute? How can we leverage technology? And how can youth become politically engaged?

    The podcast-recordings took place during the Healthy Start Transformative Research Meeting. The podcast as well as the research meeting were organized by scientists from SYNClab, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Healthy Start Convergence, and the University of California Berkeley.
