EFR events in February

As you may have noticed, the Erasmus Recruitment Days have started! After a festive opening on January 24, many companies and students have met at this ‘Port of Possibilities’.

For students interested in traveling and other cultures, the deadline for the study trip to Israel is approaching! From April 25 until May 3 you will travel around Israel. Experience how companies operate under the Jewish, Arabian and western culture, float in the deepest body of water on the planet (the Dead Sea), discover the buzzing and ancient cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, explore the deserts of the Middle East on a camel and finish it off with an exhilarating race down the sand dunes in a dune-buggy. Make sure to subscribe before February 17!

Furthermore, the EFR-Involve Committee will be organizing, in cooperation with the non-profit party Healthy Entrepreneurs, a volunteering project where students can use their academic knowledge to improve situations in developing countries. This project is an opportunity for bachelor-3 and master students to experience the different aspects of desk- and field research, while contributing to the further, and lasting development of essential sectors in a developing country. Apply now at: www.efr.nl/involve or come to the information drink on February 9 to ask all your questions to the Involve committee members and former participants.

Lastly, On March 13 the EFR/EenVandaag Lijsttrekkersdebat will take place in the Aula of the university. During this debate Mark Rutte and Geert Wilders will debate each other. More information about tickets will follow soon on our website and Facebook. Since this debate will be on live television we are sorry to inform you that this event will be for Dutch speaking students only.
