Erasmus University Rotterdam became an OpenAIRE member. Erasmus University Library submitted the application on behalf of the university.
OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe) is a technical infrastructure that harvests research output and provides over 15 services related to publishing, infrastructure building, and monitoring open science.
Its mission is to facilitate openness, collaboration, and the discoverability, accessibility, shareability, reusability, and reproducibility of research outputs. One example of OpenAIRE services is the Netherlands Research Portal , which highlights all Dutch research outputs (articles, data, software, etc.). EUR already provides such information to the portal through the university institutional repository.
By becoming an OpenAIRE member, EUR (Library) strengthens its open and responsible science practices through international collaboration. The membership aligns closely with our ambitions to foster open, transparent, and responsible research practices and gives us the opportunity to collaborate and shape the development of new services and standards.
