Erasmus University Rotterdam receives highest Erasmus+ KA171 funding among Dutch research universities

Erasmus University Rotterdam has received the exciting news that multiple Erasmus+ KA171 proposals have been awarded. With just over €700,000 in funding for mobility activities starting in August 2026, EUR has secured the highest amount of Erasmus+ KA171 funding among research universities in the Netherlands.

These grants, funded by the European Commission, support the mobility of students and staff through dedicated projects with partner institutions in non-EU countries for the upcoming three academic years. The successful proposals involve partnerships in twelve countries across six regions. The awarded projects include collaborations with the following countries and EUR faculties:

  • Azerbaijan - Erasmus MC
  • Palestine - ISS
  • Malaysia - ISS
  • Taiwan - Erasmus MC
  • Kazakhstan - Erasmus MC
  • Cameroon - Erasmus MC
  • Kenya -ISS
  • South Africa - Erasmus MC and ESHPM
  • Tanzania - ISS
  • Zimbabwe - Erasmus MC
  • Canada - Erasmus MC
  • United States of America - Erasmus MC
