From 29 June to 2 July 2021, Erasmus University Rotterdam, together with Delft University of Technology, is organising the annual conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) in Rotterdam.
Under the name 'Accelerating Transitions', the IAME conference brings together academic and expert knowledge in all aspects of ports and maritime research, from all parts of the world. It stimulates the exchange of new ideas, relevant insights, and cutting-edge research results.
The location Rotterdam offers the unique opportunity to visit one of the most modern ports in the world and to join specifically organised interactions with experts and business leaders in the port's industry.
The conference will be hybrid in its form, as besides a physical conference, an attractive online environment will be created, also allowing online participation from home countries.
