The ticket sale for one of the largest introduction weeks in the Netherlands has started again. Under the theme "Exceed All Odds," Eurekaweek marks the beginning of a new chapter full of opportunities and challenges for all first-year bachelor and (pre-)master students in Rotterdam.
Every year, it is the reality for thousands of students starting a higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) programme in Rotterdam: you discover a new city, meet new people, and make memories for life. To get off to a good start in September, the Eurekaweek was therefore brought into life.
What is the Eurekaweek like?
In a group of about fifteen other students, you will visit all the events during the three-day Eurekaweek accompanied by a guide. This way, you will already know some fellow students before the start of the academic year! With no fewer than 11 events, 90 associations, and more than 4,000 students, it promises to be another edition you won't want to miss.
During the Eurekaweek, you will learn everything about Erasmus University and the beautiful port city of Rotterdam. You will discover the Woudestein campus, get to know the study and student associations, enjoy the nightlife, or take a stroll through the city: it promises to be a diverse programme! Tickets are available now
Want to be there? Tickets for Eurekaweek 2026 are now available via the official Eurekaweek website. With your ticket, you have access to all events of the week; from the opening ceremony to the closing party. A ticket costs €92.50 and is on sale until July 26, 2026, 23:59, via the button below.
External tickets for individual events such as the Cantus in Ahoy, the Master's Day on campus, the Siloshuffle in the Maassilo, and the Festival will be made available starting in early August: ideal for senior students or alumni who want to join in the festivities. Keep an eye on the Eurekaweek website for this.
Sleeping arrangements: make sure you are fully engaged
The Eurekaweek is a packed three-day programme from start to finish. It is therefore advisable to stay in Rotterdam during the introduction week. You can stay with friends, in one of the student association houses, on the university campus (Woudestein), or in a hotel or hostel. Throughout the summer, the Eurekaweek website will be updated when new discounts become available.
The most accessible option for those coming from outside Rotterdam? During the Eurekaweek, it is possible to stay on the Woudestein campus. You will stay in the Erasmus Sport sports hall from Sunday through Thursday and receive a sleeping mat, a locker, and a chair. Lockers are available during the day to store your belongings.
