What is AI capable of, and do we want AI to do this? Discover it for yourself at The AI Playground, for children, young people, and their parents.
SHOULD AI DO THAT? What is AI capable of? And what do we think about it?
On Wednesday, September 30, children, young people, and their parents can discover this for themselves during The AI Playground, part of the AI Hype, Hope & Humanity Festival by Erasmus University Rotterdam and partners at De Doelen Rotterdam. From 12:00 to 17:00, there will be plenty of activities ready for you to experience AI firsthand. Have a drawing transformed by AI, experiment with the AI Photobooth and Magic Mirror, meet a robot dog, and discover how algorithms determine what you see online.
But just because AI can do something, does that also mean we want AI to do it? During The AI Playground, children not only learn about AI but are actually challenged to experiment with it, ask questions, and form their own opinions. The program is free, but registration is required. The activities are open continuously. Children participating in the afternoon must be accompanied by an adult.
All activities are in Dutch and English.
